The Economic and Commercial Office of the Egyptian Embassy in Berlin is responsible for developing and following up on economic and trade relations between Egypt and Germany in cooperation with the concerned governmental and non-governmental entities in Germany.
Our work includes but is not limited to:
- export promotion activities for Egyptian products in the German market,
- investment promotion activities to attract German investments to the Egyptian market,
- supporting Egyptian participation in German exhibitions and German participation in Egyptian exhibitions,
- assistance in solving disputes between Egyptian and German companies.
We are part of the Egyptian Commercial Service (ECS), which is an affiliate of the Ministry of Trade and Industry in Egypt and represents the economic side of diplomacy in Egypt. It is one of the main entities responsible for the development of foreign trade in Egypt. ECS participates in the execution of the government’s plan of export increase and attraction of Foreign Direct Investments, in addition to representing Egypt in International Trade and Economic Organizations, follow-up of technical and financial cooperation agreements, supporting Egyptian participation in International Exhibitions, organizing promotional missions, and assisting in solving trade disputes.
